45 hours In this course basic concepts of curriculum planning and implementation for children 3-5 years old are introduced. Topics include teaching strategies, environment design, and implementation of best practices in early childhood education. Prepares students for a position in a child care center or preschool. This course aligns with proposed Maryland Staff Credential Levels 2-4.
