LINE - 102 Fundamentals of Electrical Power Distribution 3 LINE - 102 Fundamentals of Electrical Power Distribution 3 This course builds foundational knowledge of electrical theory and its application to utility-line electrical distribution systems. Emphasis is placed on understanding essential concepts required to work safely and effectively in power delivery operations. Students will complete online modules designed for utility line training programs and participate in extensive, supervised pole yard activities to develop hands-on utility line mechanic skills. Upon completion, students will be prepared to take the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) Construction and Skilled Trades (CAST) test, a widely recognized screening assessment used by electric utility companies nationwide. Pre-requisite(s): CDL Class A Driver’s License
