HMGT 190 - Introduction to Restaurant Operations HMGT 190 - Introduction to Restaurant Operations Total Hours: 75 In this highly applied course, students begin their journey of discovery into the inner workings of food and beverage operations. Students are immersed in the ambience of a fine dining restaurant and learn the importance of aesthetics and attention to detail. They are introduced to preparing, cooking, and serving in a real-world setting at Dunlop House restaurant, where they learn and practice foundational skills under controlled conditions with support and guidance. They learn to collaborate, work productively in teams, and communicate effectively with others. Students demonstrate their learning in a final full-service dining event. Prerequisites One of: C in English 12 C in English 12 Camosun Alternative
