Medical Coding and Electronic Health Records Certificate
(MCO) (ALSO AVAILABLE 100% ONLINE) Program Description The Certificate in Medical Coding and Electronic Health Records is designed to provide students with entry-level coding skills to enter the medical coding profession. Graduates of this program are trained to perform specialized data entry, coding classification and record keeping procedures related to medical diagnostic, treatment, insurance billing and medical record documentation. The courses in the certificate program are directly transferable into Central Maine Community College’s Associate in Applied Science Degree in Medical Coding and Electronic Health Records.
