MAT 101 — Business Mathematics
(3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop) 3 Hrs./Wk. (3 Hrs. Lecture) *1 5 wks. This course is designed to develop the computational and vocabulary skills necessary for: retailing, marketing, accounting, finance and business management. Topics studied include: interest, banking, depreciation systems, payroll, statistics and graphics. It includes expanded application of algebraic principles through the study of quadratics and linear equations to business problems including standard of deviation and coefficient of variation to quality control problems.
