Accounting - A.S. Degree
Description The Accounting program is designed to: Prepare non-transfer accounting students for entry level positions by making the accounting certificate and/or the two-year degree in accounting available to them; Prepare transfer accounting students with appropriate background for upper division courses; and Provide non-accounting majors with sufficient expertise to enable them to make intelligent use of accounting information. Program Learning Outcomes Upon the successful completion of this program, students should be able to: Apply the conceptual framework of financial and managerial accounting and reporting in business. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
