Description The Emergency Medical Provider Certificate of Achievement (EMPCA) trains students to perform basic life support in a pre-hospital setting, preparing them for employment in the field of Emergency Medicine. Successful completion of the EMPCA identifies the student as having met the educational requirements as an Emergency Medical Provider - Basic EMT. Certificate holders are qualified to take the National Registry examinations necessary for state certification.
