Description The Certificate of Competency in English as a Second Language is provided as an option for students whose first language is not English. The program provides the skills community members need to achieve their academic, career, community and self-fulfillment goals. Courses provide instruction in English as a second language at six different proficiency levels, from beginning to advanced.
