BARB 101 — Introduction to Barbering 8.5 Units (AA/AS) 120 lecture hours, 120 lab hours

This is the introductory course for students majoring in barbering. The course includes the theoretical exploration and basic practical application of a variety of subjects including shampooing, draping, hair and scalp analysis, long haircutting techniques, hairstyling, infection control, health and safety, rules and regulations, basic anatomy, and basic electricity.
