BARB 105 — Business and Licensing Preparation for Barbers 5 Units (AA/AS) 70 lecture hours, 70 lab hours

This course is designed to prepare students for licensure and employment. The topics include working in barbershops, interviewing, money management, selling, customer service, client consultation, building a clientele, types of businesses, building a business, and product knowledge and uses. It continues the exploration of professional ethics, public safety, state board rules and regulations, and health and safety.
