A.S. in Esthetician
Students completing this degree are educated and trained in the fundamental skills needed to successfully complete and pass the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, Esthetics Examination. The program provides a distinct education in esthetic applications, values, theoretical science and State Board preparedness, which includes, but is not limited to: makeup design, training in electrical modalities, hair removal, facials for specific skin types/conditions and proper sanitation and disinfecting procedures. The course also provides interpersonal interaction with clients and other students.
