Study of critical thinking through oral advocacy and debate. Principles of effective argumentation including logic, reasoning, evidence, motivation, persuasion and refutation. Preparation and presentation of written and oral arguments and participation in individual and group debates. Substantial analytical reading is required. (C-ID )
