MUSIC 195 — Music Technology and Recording

Practical study of electronic music and electronic recording methods. Topics will include electronic music, analog and digital recording, field and studio recording, audio editing, microphones, multi-track recording and processing, and open source software. Hardware is not provided-though not required, it is recommended that students have their own hardware (phone, tablet, laptop, desktop).
