BIO2111 — Anatomy & Physiology I
BIO 2111 - Anatomy & Physiology I BIO 2111 - Anatomy & Physiology I This course is the first semester of a two-semester sequence that provides a comprehensive study of the structure and function of the human body. Anatomy and Physiology I covers terminology, tissues, integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems and their relationships to other systems. The physiology of movement is emphasized. Selected pathology examples are examined. Students study the relationship between structure and function using interactive physiology software, diagnostic imaging, dissection, and histology slides. The use of computers and Blackboard are integral aspects of this course.
