The Health Science A.S. degree is designed to provide students a solid foundation in the principles of healthcare delivery and prepare them to pursue entry-level professional training. The Health Science A.S. will prepare students for admission to a broad range of health and human services, advanced degrees or professional programs. In addition, the Health Science A.S. program will provide knowledge and skills for non-clinical employment opportunities in healthcare settings. This program will provide an opportunity for health professionals who are already working in healthcare settings, to learn valuable healthcare knowledge, while completing an associate degree. Importantly, The Health Science program will provide an associate degree pathway for transfer into Health Science baccalaureate programs.
