CSCI 4425 — Introduction to Deep Learning

The course covers basic concepts of neural networks which include transition of classical machine learning to hierarchical feature learning, feedforward networks, regularization, optimization, hyperparameter tuning, deep convolutional networks and their applications in computer vision, deep sequence models, and deep generative models. Taught together with CSCI 5425 .
