Introduction to efficient data structure and algorithm design. Order notation and asymptotic run-time of algorithms. Recurrence relations and solutions. Abstract data type dynamic set and data structures based on trees. Classic algorithm design paradigms: divide-and-conquer, dynamic programming, greedy algorithms.
