Non-Credit: Emergency Medical Technician (formerly Emergency Medical Technology)

The Certificate of Completion in Emergency Medical Technician provides foundational knowledge and hands-on training for individuals pursuing a career as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Students learn to assess and deliver life-saving care to patients in both emergency and non-emergency situations involving injury or illness. This certificate prepares students for entry-level employment with ambulance providers, including those that offer inter-facility transport and 911 emergency response services.
