ACT 160 — Avalanche 1 Training: 1 Credits (1 Lab)
(Sp) This Avalanche Level 1 course is for skiers or snowboarders who wants to recreate in or near avalanche terrain. The focus is an introduction to avalanche terrain and decision making. Successful students will receive a certificate of training through the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE). All classroom and field sessions are mandatory to attend. Repeatable up to 3 credits.
