AGSC 101 — Introduction to Agricultural and Environmental Resources: 1 Credits (1 Lec)
(F) This course is optional, but all freshmen in the College of Agriculture are strongly encouraged to enroll. This seminar-style course provides a foundational introduction to career development, academic planning, and professional skill-building within agriculture, environmental resources, and related fields. Students will explore career interests and strengths, develop short- and long-term career goals, and engage with campus and college resources related to wellness, financial literacy, academic success, and experiential learning. Emphasis is placed on professionalism, communication, critical reflection on major and career fit, and preparation for future coursework, internships, and leadership experiences
