ARTH 343 — Modern Art in Italy: 3 Credits (3 Lec)

(Sp) ARTH 343 will use the resources of Italy’s modern and contemporary art museums supplemented by classroom lectures to offer an overview of the major movements of Modern art in Italy. Through the lectures and through their assignments, students in this course will examine in-depth the specific historical and political context of Italian art in the Modern era, mid-18th c. to the present
