(F) RECOMMENDED: STAT 411 A broad survey of conservation biology, emphasizing approaches related to demography/population dynamics and evolution. Less extensively considers approaches related to community/ecosystem/landscape ecology. Approaches include empirical field studies, mathematical models, using R for modeling and empirical analysis, reading primary literature, writing a research paper and presenting a research talk.
