. This course surveys the immense diversity of fungi, including all major groups with emphasis on structures, life cycles, identification, and ecology. It provides a basis of knowledge for the rapidly expanding relevance of fungi in research, medicine, agriculture, biotechnology, and industry. This course is co-convened with BIOM 523
