CHIN 130D — Historical and Literary Journey into Modern China: 3 Credits (3 Lec)

The focus of this course will be on the 20th and 21st centuries Chinese short stories and novellas in English translation. We will look at modern and contemporary Chinese literature in its historical setting as well as from the point of view of literary critical theory.
