CHTH 503 — Community-Based Participatory Research: Research, Practice, and Policy: 3 Credits (3 Lec)
(Sp) PREREQUISITE: Graduate student standing. Community-based participatory research (CBPR) is an orientation to community centered research. Students will learn the theoretical foundations and ethical considerations related to CBPR. Students will learn the skills necessary to design, implement and evaluate CBPR studies in collaboration with community partners and understand strategies for translating research into practice and policy. Other community centered research models will also be discussed
