ECIV 459 — Sustainable Transportation & Community Health: 3 Credits (3 Lec)
(Sp) This class is intended to bring together ideas in engineering, community health, planning, and policy disciplines to study the relationship between transportation and public health. The course will introduce students to how transportation systems evolved in the U.S. and in the Netherlands, and the design standards that go along with active transportation infrastructure.Students will compare how different land use patterns and the built environment influence how we travel and our public health outcomes
