ECP 123 — Wilderness First Responder Recertification: 1 Credits (1 Lab)

(F) Wilderness First Responder covers the fundamentals of emergency care in a non-urban environment, including physiology, injury assessment, short term and long-term care, anatomy, and small group rescues. Wilderness First Responder is a nationally recognized standard for wilderness medicine for outdoor industry professionals in the United States. The wilderness first responder recertification course allows students to keep their certification valid and skills sharp through practice and application. This course is meant to be re-taken every 1-2 years. Successful candidates would leave the course with an extension to their Wilderness First Responder Certificate that is good for an additional 2 years. Repeatable up to 3 credits.
