EDCI 545 — Organization of Information in School Library Media Centers: 3 Credits (3 Lec)

In this course students learn application of descriptive and subjective cataloging content and procedures including: Dewey Decimal and other classification schemes, Sears and Library of Congress subject headings, MARC records, and RDA rules. Technology issues for automation and management of library holdings are also examined. Restricted to Library Media Certificate students
