EDM 402 — Methods: 5-12 Social Studies: 3 Credits (3 Lec)
(F, Sp) Requires completion of 20 or more credits in subject area and good standing in the Teacher Education Program. This course will acquaint students with the current theory and practice of social studies education in grades 5-12. The course focuses on preparing you to assume responsibilities as responsive teachers, effective curriculum developers, and informed professionals who can contribute to local, state, and national dialogues regarding social studies education
