(F) This course will provide an overview of some of the major artistic and critical trends in experimental/avant-garde film history as a foundation for developing an informed personal experimental filmmaking practice that is free from established conventions. Class time will be spent viewing and discussing films, discussing assigned readings, and workshopping production assignments
