GEO 402 — Cellular and Molecular Paleontology: 3 Credits (3 Lec)

(F) This course explores how ancient soft tissues, cells, and biomolecules are recovered, analyzed, and interpreted to reconstruct the biology and evolution of long-extinct organisms, from dinosaurs to hominins. Students will integrate paleohistological, molecular, cellular, and geochemical evidence with traditional paleontology to uncover the biology and evolution of extinct species

Prerequisites: BIOB 375, BIOB 420, GEO 211
