HSTR 474 — Foundations of Public History: 3 Credits (3 Lec)
(Sp) This course introduces students to the world of non-academic historical careers such as in museums, archives, and historical parks. Students will learn the theory and practice of public history, historical interpretation for diverse audiences and agencies, and methodologies that support collaborative, creative historical approaches. Class combines readings and discussion, interaction with practicing professionals, and participation in public history projects
