PHSX 516 — Experimental Physics: 3 Credits (2 Lec, 1 Lab)

(F, Sp) Experiments chosen from laser optics and atomic, solid-state, and nuclear physics are carried out in depth to introduce the graduate student to methods, instrumentation, and data acquisition techniques useful for experimental thesis projects. Co-convened with PHSX 444 Repeatable up to 6 credits.

Prerequisites: PHSX 261, PHSX 423, PHSX 461, PHSX 444
