WILD 355 — Wildlife and Livestock Habitat Restoration: 3 Credits (2 Lec, 2 Lab)
(F) Improvement and rehabilitation of rangeland, forest, and desert habitats used by wildlife and free-ranging livestock in the western United States. Topics include methods used to improve wildlife habitat as well as livestock forage. Design criteria for stock ponds, off-site water development, construction of bird/small mammal guzzlers, use of prescribed fire, mechanical, chemical and biological techniques to rehabilitate and improve rangeland, forest, and desert vegetation communities
