NURS 105 — Medical-Surgical Nursing I

In this course, students use the nursing process to implement a client-centered plan of care for an adult client in the medical-surgical setting. Students organize and provide care to support the client’s physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. Safety, quality improvement, and teamwork and collaboration are emphasized. Students continue to build a personal practice of professionalism through evidence based clinical practice and theory application. Course includes 37.5 lecture hours and 90 clinical hours.
