NURS 230 — Pediatric Nursing

In this course, students use the nursing process and principles of growth and development to formulate a client-centered plan of care for the health and wellness needs of the pediatric client and family. Students function effectively within the health care team to advocate for their client’s needs and support a culture of safety and quality improvement. Core professional values are utilized as students develop and maintain competence in nursing practice. Course includes 30 lecture hours and 45 clinical hours. Pre-requisites: NURS 105 , NURS 110 , NURS 112 , BIO 205 . Course fee.
