PHOT 121 — Introduction to Photography for Non-Majors (GAH)
This introductory course in photography is designed for students from various academic backgrounds and majors. Through a combination of learning modules, interactive assignments, and engaging discussions, students will acquire a strong foundation in the art and practice of photography. Whether you're a beginner or have some prior experience, this course will empower you to explore the world of photography from its origins with the camera obscura, through to the modern DSLR, mirrorless, and smartphone photography of today. Students will need a smartphone camera to complete the course assignments. Neither DSLR nor mirrorless camera is required for this class but may certainly be utilized if available. Course fee.
