PN 107 — Medical-Surgical Practical Nursing 1

In this course, students use the nursing process to implement and formulate a client-centered plan of care for adult clients with acute or chronic health disorders. Students function effectively within the health care team in various health care settings in the role of the practical nurse. Students will organize and provide care, advocate for the client, and support a culture of safety and quality improvement. Students build a personal practice of professionalism through evidence-based clinical practice and theory application. Usually offered in the summer semester. Course fee.
