CARD 123 — Hemodynamics

The purpose of this course is for students to identify normal and abnormal cardiovascular hemodynamic values and pressure waveforms. Using equations, students will perform calculations to determine the hemodynamics of the cardiovascular system including those affected by various cardiac diseases. Students will also identify the mechanism of the Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and pressure transducer.
