HIST 122 — Western Civilization: Medieval to Early Modern

This course examines the major features of the development of western civilization and its relationship to non-western cultures from the medieval period through the 18 th century. The course will include the use of primary and secondary sources to understand the social, economic, political, and cultural factors that influenced the relationship between western and non-western societies.
