MATH 129 — Concepts of Mathematics III

This is the third course in a sequence available only to students in the elementary and early childhood education programs. Topics include permutations, combinations, probability, data collection, representations of data, and use of statistical concepts to analyze and interpret data. Problem-solving techniques are emphasized including the appropriate use of calculators and computers. MATH 129 is not a mathematics core course. A TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator is required.
