ANT2560 — Intro to Forensic Anthropology

Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of forensic anthropology. Forensic anthropology has historically been considered to be a sub-discipline within the broader context of biological anthropology, but now incorporates elements of osteology, archaeology, cultural anthropology, and other areas of study. Forensic anthropologists work with medical teams, law enforcement, and government agencies to solve problems of medicolegal significance that generally involve human bodies. They also lend their expertise to constituencies seeking justice for past wrongs. Eligibility: ENG 1510 without supports or Corequisite: ENG 1510 with supports. J spring.
