CRI1690 — Interview and Interrogation

Students will learn current interview and interrogation techniques that can be applied in various accusatory and non-accusatory settings. Proper application of these techniques in accordance with the 5th Amendment (right against self-incrimination) as it applies to suspects and arrested persons and the 6th Amendment (right to counsel) is emphasized. Prerequisite/Corequisite: CRI 1510. J occasionally; C occasionally.
