LPN1130 — PN Special Populations

This course provides students with a comprehensive introduction to assessments and nursing concepts, specifically targeting maternity, newborn, pediatric, and mentally ill populations. Emphasizing the nursing process, students will develop critical thinking skills to effectively adapt nursing concepts and procedures to meet the unique needs of these diverse and vulnerable groups. Open to practical Nursing Majors only. Prerequisite LPN 1110 and LPN 1120. Pre/Co-requisites BIO 2520 or HCR 2100, MAT 1540, PSY 2510, LPN 1140. J, fall, spring, summer.
