MUS1890 — Guitar Maintenance/Repair
With a major course emphasis on guitar maintenance and repair, students will concentrate on proper stringing, tuning, set-up, and maintenance. Electric, acoustic, and MIDI Controller instruments will be considered. Purchase considerations for new and used instruments will be discussed. No previous music or repair experience required. Application to other stringed instruments will be included as appropriate. No requisites. J occasionally.
