NUR2360 — Pharmacology For Nurses II

Students will continue to be introduced to essential information which promotes the knowledge and skills of safe medication therapy to clients/patients across the lifespan. The course will present the study of the pharmacological action of medications and the care of the client/patient using the nursing process. The course focuses on the medication for patients with alterations in the following: oxygenation, perfusion, sensory-perception, tissue integrity, cellular regulation and psycho-social. Prerequisite: NUR 2350 Part I, and successful completion of NUR 1520, BIO 2510 and BIO 2520 with a grade of C or better. Campus and term: J spring, C spring.
