NUR2560 — Pathophysiology II
As a continuation of Pathophysiology I, students will study the physiological and psychological changes that occur as a result of disease processes. Emphasis will be placed on the nursing assessment and the analysis of clinical manifestation development. Students will integrate concepts from chemistry, anatomy and physiology, and microbiology and focus on their application to clinical practice. This course focuses on the pathophysiology for clients/patients with disruptions in the following: oxygenation, perfusion, sensory-perception, cellular regulation and tissue integrity.
