PST1020 — Intro to Fire Protection Tech
This course provides basic information that will enable the student to comprehend and evaluate good fire protection practices, including fire prevention and extinguishment and the application of scientific principles to the studies of fire protection technology and development of career positions. These related occupations that draw from the fire sciences include; sprinkler protection engineer, fire detection and alarm system design, manufacture and sales, fire safety protection engineer, fire investigator, and firefighter.
