SOC2600 — Popular Culture
Students will explore theoretical perspectives and empirical work in the sociology of popular culture in order to examine the significance of popular culture in society. At the core of this analysis will be the role of power in affecting the meanings associated with various forms of culture. Eligibility: ENG 1510 without supports or Corequisite: ENG 1510 with supports.
