SPT2330 — Youth Sport Administration
Students will examine the youth sport movement by exploring a broad overview of the major topics in the area. Specifically, the course prepares students as program directors by focusing on related issues such as sport specialization, burnout, overuse injuries, and parent and coaching education. Information garnered in this course is relevant for sport management personnel, fitness professionals, teachers/coaches, and/or athletic trainers. Prerequisite: ENG 1510. J occasionally.
